About this compound

The research profile.

Lemon Bottle is a lipolytic research solution supplied as a ready-mixed 10 ml liquid — it requires no reconstitution, which is why this page carries no mixing calculator or preparation section. The formulation is marketed as combining riboflavin (vitamin B2), bromelain, and lecithin-derived phosphatidylcholine, constituents whose individual biochemistry is described in the peer-reviewed literature cited below.

Riboflavin is the precursor of the flavin coenzymes FAD and FMN, which participate in mitochondrial oxidation reactions including steps of fatty-acid beta-oxidation. Bromelain is a proteolytic enzyme complex derived from pineapple, characterised in the literature for its fibrinolytic and anti-edematous enzymology. Phosphatidylcholine has a distinct research history in the injectable-lipolysis literature: formulation reviews and a randomised controlled study have examined phosphatidylcholine–deoxycholate preparations and their effects on adipocyte structure, work that also documents how much of that activity is attributable to the detergent co-solvent rather than the phospholipid itself.

The specific Lemon Bottle formulation has not been the subject of published controlled trials, and its exact composition is not standardised in the peer-reviewed literature. The constituent-level research summarised here describes laboratory and clinical-study biochemistry only; no conclusions about the mixture should be inferred from it.
